Q. If IÂ am a Nursing Home Medicaid recipient, does my out of pocket/patient liability change with the pricing of a facility?Â
A. No it does not. Once your monthly Medicaid Patient Liability amount has been assigned through Job and Family Services, this is your patient liability/share of the cost for any facility in Ohio. No matter what the monthly cost of the facility, the amount of monthly patient liability remains the same.
