Why give to Brethren Care Village?
Donations are used to purchase things that can better the most resident’s lives. Donations to Brethren Care Village can be specified to a building, a department, or even a specific item or project.
Is my gift tax deductable?
Yes! Because Brethren Care Village is a non-profit, 501 (c)-3 organization, all donations are tax deductable. You will receive a letter in the mail for tax purposes.
What is the Caring Club?
The Caring Club is Brethren Care Village’s annual fundraising drive. Each year the money collected goes toward a common cause. In 2009, the Caring Club raised money towards Life Enrichment Activities to better the lives of the residents.
What is a "Wish List"?
Our "Wish List" includes items that would create a better life for our residents at Brethren Care Village. Please view our Wish List for ways that you can donate.
How do I leave money to Brethren Care Village in my will?
Estate planning can create significant tax breaks and can be done through wills, life insurance policies, and charitable remainder trusts.
What are some past donations?
Brethren Care Village has been blessed by many generous donations over the years. Large donations include a resident transportation van and bus, therapy equipment, automatic handicap doors.
Can I donate my loved one's belongings?
Yes, you may donate your loved ones belongings after they were a resident at Brethren Care Village.
What is the Brethren Care Auxiliary?
The Auxiliary is a group of dedicated individuals that help raise money for the Brethren Care Village residents. They meet bi-monthly to plan events, including their yearly garage sale. In the past few years, the Auxiliary donated a large tent, tables and chairs to accommodate residents and their guests for our yearly Family & Friends picnics.
