What is Assisted Living?
Assisted Living is designed for those who do not need skilled nursing care, but do need some assistance with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, and medication administration.
What does Assisted Living provide?
Assisted Living provides 3 meals a day, nursing care including medication administration and an emergency response system, weekly housekeeping, laundry and flat linen services, and a full life enrichment calendar.
What is the difference between Brookwood Place and Belmont Tower?
Brookwood Place is a single-story building that offers studio and one-bedroom size apartments, while Belmont Tower is a five-story building that offers 500, 600, 650, and 900 sq. ft. apartment sizes. Both buildings offer the same level of care and amenities.
What kind amenities do you offer?
Both Brookwood Place and Belmont Tower offer a computer center, fitness area, whirlpool room, free Internet access, laundry facilities, guest meals, and a hair salon. Transportation is available for medical appointments as well.
How do I pay for Assisted Living?
Assisted Living is private pay. However, there is a significant Veteran’s Benefit for both veterans and their spouses, and some Long-Term Care Insurances cover assisted living expenses. For more information on Veteran’s Benefits contact the local Veteran’s Office at (419) 282-4200.
